COVID-19: Safety Measures

As the global COVID-19 public health emergency continues to spread and create challenges for families and businesses worldwide, we would like to share how Ali Legal Services is addressing many of the same challenges that our clients may be facing. The Government of Ontario has deemed law offices and paralegal offices as part of the essential workplaces. As such, law offices and paralegal offices are permitted to remain open. We want to assure you that our office remains open for business and our team is fully prepared. We are monitoring the situation closely as it unfolds and are taking all necessary measures to ensure that our team and our clients remain safe. We remain available to serve our clients during this challenging time whether working from our office or working remotely. We made certain decisions to do our part to help flatten the curve and prevent community spread. We recognize that this may be a prolonged effort and want you to be fully aware of Ali Legal Services commitment to helping you during this time. If you have a matter related to Landlord & Tenant Dispute, Small Claims Court, Human Rights Tribunal and Immigration Appeals or anything within our scope of practice, please do not hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone or by e-mail to book your consultation.

Please note that all consultations and client meetings are currently being conducted virtually. We are mindful of your safety as we seek to do our part to help slow the spread of COVID -19. Please book your request for a virtual meeting by phone, email or through our website submission form. For clients requiring notary services, please note that documents will be notarized virtually with the exception of wills, powers of attorney or certified copies of original documents.

We are actively working for you, and we are here to answer questions and help you as needed, so don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to providing you with continued efficient services. We here hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.
